So what can you expect at the event?

  • The Drinks : The event is separated into four key areas; new & old world wines, local producers and bubbles! We have over 150 local & world wines and prosecco's to choose from (as well as some great soft drink options for those who require them). Meet local producers and if you wish, be guided by our experts on hand to help you select your drinks. We have a great range of red, whites, roses and bubbles to suit all tastes!

  • Entertainment : To set the mood and tone we have professional pianists on stage to provide a great range of background and party music, who can also take requests! There will be a number of walkabout magicians mingling amongst you to entertain your group. Why not try our fun photo booth to capture your time here or try your hand at our charity blind wine tasting challenge (matching the 4 red and 4 whites to the descriptions given).

  • Food : Should you get peckish, we have a couple of catering concessions at the event, offering a great range of quality food, more details to follow shortly.

  • Other information : Our charity partner for this event is Shooting Star Chase, children's hospice and care. We are giving a donation from every ticket sold and profits from the blind wine tasting challenge. We also have stands from West Surrey Wine Society, other wine organisations and Shooting Stars Chase.  Each session can accommodate up to 750 people, so bring friends and colleagues. We are also talking to local restaurants and pubs who wish to support our event, by offering discounts to our guests pre or post the events, our social media pages will have more information. Finally we have a number of corporate packages and advertising opportunities available, contact office@drinksfestivals.co.uk for more information and rates card.

  • Getting There : The cathedral (GU2 7UP) is just 10 minutes walk from Guildford train station, with also good bus routes nearby. Nearer the time will publish train and bus times on our social media pages. We are also talking to local taxis companies who wish to offer deals to and from the station.
